Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites application for various positions in offices under Government of India. The vacancies are for the positions of Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Physiotherapist & Scientific Assistant. The details of the vacancy are as follows:-
Name and No. of posts with Pay Scale:
1. Junior Engineer (Civil): 4 posts, Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade pay of Rs.4200/-,
2. Junior Physiotherapist: 16 posts, Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade pay of Rs.4200/-,
3. Scientific Assistant - I: 4 posts, Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade pay of Rs.2800/-.
Age Limit: For post 1, the age limit is between 21 to 32 years, for post no. 2, the age limit must not exceed 30 years and for post no. 3, the age limit is between 18 to 25 years.
Educational Qualifications: For post 1, the candidate must have a degree in civil engineering or he must have a degree + 3 years work experience or equivalent. For post 2, the candidate must have a degree in physiotherapy from a recognized University or Institution, and two years experience in physiotherapy in a Hospital or Medical Institute. For post no. 3, the candidate must have a degree in B.Sc (Agriculture) from a recognized University.
Application fees: The application fees is Rs.50/-. SC/ST/PH/Women/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the application fees.
How to apply: Interested candidates may apply separately for different categories of post. Application forms can be obtained from the Employment News newspaper dated 31st Dec 2011 to 6th Jan, 2012. Applications completed in all aspects shall reach to the below mentioned address by speed post, before the last date for receipt of application fees. The address is as follows:-
