Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications from eligible candidates for various positions in the Eastern Region. The details of the vacancy are as follows:-
Name of the post and No. of Vacancies with Pay Scale:
1. Technician: 2 posts, Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade pay of Rs.2400 (PB-1),
2. Sub Editor (Bengali): 1 post, Pay Scale: Rs.5500-9000/- (Pre-Revised),
3. Preservation Assistant (Grade - I): 1 post, Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade pay of Rs.2800/- (PB-1).
4. Technical Officer - I: 3 post, Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade pay of Rs.2000/- (PB-1),
5. Library Clerk (Reprography): 1 post, Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade pay of Rs.1900/- (PB-1).
6. Library Clerk (General): 5 posts, Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade pay of Rs.1900/- (PB-1).
Age Limit: The age limit for post no. 1 is between 18 to 27 years, for post no. 2,4,5,6 is 18 to 25 years, for post no. 3 is below 26 years.
Educational Qualifications: The candidates applying for post no. 1 must have a B.Sc degree from a recognized University, for post no. 2 the candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university, for post no. 3 the candidate must have a B.Sc degree with Botany as one subject from a recognized university, for post no. 4 the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Science (Zoology/Botany/Agriculture) from a recognized University, for post no. 5 and 6 the candidate must have passed matriculation examination or equivalent to it.

very informative post indeed... was looking for the same // help me by solving a query of mine.. I'm enrolled in http://www.wiziq.com/course/1649-online-videos-to-prepare-for-bank-po-written-examinations but now in two minds whether to continue it or not because it being an online course. What are your thoughts on it.. ? Should I continue with the course as the study material & teaching style is very educative or I should fall back and switch to offline modes of learning.

I would like to say that one thing to you that it really depends up to your understanding capability. If you had a good grasping power of what is being taught at the site and your concentration level is up to the mark then I think it is recommendable to join this course.
Otherwise for offline modes. According to me I had visited the site and I think this site have a good alexa rank which gives our recommendation that, this is a genuine site. The good thing about the course is that the course fee is 40$=Rs.2000/- if you use their promotional code given at their website.
